About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi I am Canadian permanent resident but have Indian nationality.

I have 10 hours stay in China. I was wondering if the airline give us hotel which is not connected to airport do I need visa to go out to stay there. Please tell me.

In most China airports, if your layover is not more than 24 hours, you are eligible for the 24-hour direct transit policy. If so, you are allowed to go out of the airport by simply applying for apply for a temporary stay permit upon arrival.
