About:China Private Visit Visa

Hi, I'm in mainland China and my daughter is in the Philippines.

How can I apply a visa for her. Can I do it in China? If not, what other requirements should I prepare? Do I need a bank statement etc.?

No, you cannot do it in China. If you want to apply for a tourist L type for China, you should first prepare those documents containing your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form, a bareheaded color photo, an invitation letter from you and proof of her financial support. Next, submit the application to the embassy of China in Philippines to apply for the L type.

I'm thinking of S1 type. Do I need any papers from the government here in mainland China? Or just a letter of invitation from me will do

Usually, an invitation letter from you is okay.
