About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I am arriving at Pudong Airport from Thailand on Thai airways at 3:50 PM.

And transferring to an Air Canada flight to Canada that departs at 5:50 PM.... is this enough transfer time? I have not been able to confirm yet if Thai airways will check my luggage all the way through to Canada because these are two different tickets. If they cannot what is the process at PVG? Just want to make sure I have enough time.
I should also mention the following:
1) Thai and Air Canada both operate out of Terminal 2 at Pudong
2) Thai and Air Canada are both Star Alliance and therefore have an interline baggage agreement

Thanks

Oh, I see. So you actually get through ticket. Well, the procedures are Arriving - Inspection / Quarantine / Immigration - Departing Hall - Waiting and Boarding.

Since the two airlines have interline baggage agreement, you can save some time of claiming baggage. As I know, the MCT for your case is 100-120min, so hurry up and you can catch the onward flight.

Thanks for the reply.... but I decided to change my routing to give me 5 hours transit time in PVG to be sure and no stress to get my onward flight... I was actually told by Thai airways that 2 hours was too short and that all passengers there must collect their luggage and check it in again after inspection.
