About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

quick pause in Thailand

If my itinerary is Taiwan - Mainland China - Thailand - back to Mainland China - USA, where I stay 9 days in Mainland China each time, is that okay? Especially if I'm not in Thailand very long?

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 240 hour visa free transit - twice. It really does not matter how long will you stay in Thailand. The essence is that your first 240 hour visa free transit journey is over and considered consumed when you have left mainland China for a third country (Thailand in your case). As soon as you have arrived in Thailand you have a right to start a brand new 240 hour visa free transit journey since there are no limits on the number of 240 hour visa free transit journeys you can enjoy within a certain period of time. In other words, it will be entirely up to you to decide the length of your stay in Thailand. Have a nice visits to China.
