About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi I'm married to a Chinese guy and our marriage was held in my country.

Hi! I'm married to a Chinese guy and our marriage was held in my country. How and what are the process to register our marriage in China? He is planning to change our kids passport to Chinese passport. I assumed that this registration will be needed in order to change their passports.

You should first get your marriage certificate notarized by the notary office and the ministry of foreign affairs of UAE, and then get the marriage attested at the embassy of China. Afterwards, go back to China to change your husband’s marital status at the local marriage registration office in his hometown. In this way, your marriage will be recognized by China.
