About:Beijing Bus and Subway

Transport to Badaling Great Wall from Wanfujing Xin Xian Ya Yuang Hotel?

We are in Beijing January 6-9, 2017, staying near Forbidden City at Wangfujing Xin Xian Ya Yuang Hotel. I'm getting mixed information on how to get to Badaling Great Wall. I was told North Railway but that appears closed. I was told bus 877 but can't find any confirmation it is still running.

Can you provide me with the best way to get to Badaling? Thank you.

Hi, dear! North Railway Station is closed these days.

Today, you may take metro line 6 from Dongsi Station to Nanluoguxiang Station, and change to metro line 8 to Huoying Station, Exit G4. Then, take S2 train to Badaling from Huangtudian Railway Station.

Or, you can take metro line 5 from Dongsi Station to Yonghegong Station, and change to metro line 2 to Jishuitan Station, Exit B2. Then, walk east for about 600 yards to Deshengmen Station. Afterwards, take bus line 877 to Badaling. :)

Both ways will take around 1h on the way. Just choose the one that is convenient for you.
