I will be in Xian, China 20 Dec for 1 week.

Do you advise me to rent portal wifi before departure from Malaysia or buy SIM Card upon arrival at China?
Where to buy SIM Card or rent portal wifi? What is the rate? What is their operating hours? Can I get it upon arrival at the airport ?

You can buy a SIM card at the convenience stores at Xianyang Airport upon landing. You can ask the staff at Enquiry Desk for the exact location. Most shops open until flights finish. Different packages have different prices. You may choose one that suits you the best! Good luck! :)
