If I travel from Adelaide to Shanghai via Hong Kong, and return to Aus within 6 days

If I travel from Adelaide, Australia, to Shanghai, via Hong Kong, watch the first AFL football game on 14 May 2017 and return to Adelaide via Hong Kong within 6 days, but do not visit any other country, am I eligible for the 144 visa-free policy?

No, you won’t be eligible for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that because you will travel like Australia –HK-Shanghai-HK-Australia and it won’t be a transit, but in principle, you should travel like Australia –HK-Shanghai- Australia if you want to enjoy the free transit.
