About:China Visa Exemption

do I need any visa to stay at shanghai airport for 37.5 hours (holding Indian passport).

I will be returning from India to New Zealand and the connecting flight has 37 hours stay. while going I will be staying for 7 days but for that I have got my single entry tourist L type to travel around. But while returning I just intend to stay at airport only for 37.5 hours

Malwinder, no, you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai. You need to get a transit G type for that.
