About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I'm American citizen and I will travel to Beijing in December for less than 72 hours.

Do I need visa if I'm traveling for less than 72 hours?
I'm American citizen.

If your travel route is like country A-Beijing-country B, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Beijing.
