Xian terracotta army: visiting days, closed days for New Year?

Oh, it is open all the year round, so it is fine to visit on Jan. 29. Its service hours are as usual, opening at 08:30. And Chinese people go home for family reunion, and the site won't be that crowded. I don't think it is necessary to book the tickets in advance. If you wanna book a tour there, you'd better do now.

Do we need a tour? Is it possible to book only the entrance (for two persons)?
The tickets will be for a precise day and a precise hour? If we should modify either the day or the hour, the tickets will still be valid? Thanks

Thanks for your question! The tour during the Chinese New Year is not available. The first available date is on March 15. Actually, you can pay a visit to the museum by yourself. Just buy the ticket on the spot upon arrival! The ticket is valid on the date of issue. You cannot use it on another day. It has no specific hours. It costs CNY 150 from March to November; CNY 120 from December to February. Have a good trip!
