I am a solo traveler , I hope to travel from Taskent or Samarkand to Xian by train. Route help .

My purpose is for Jade and Silk to bring back to USA . I'm a great train traveler. I need advise on best stops approx. time, cost?Thank you!

Xinjiang is abound in various jade, while Suzhou and Hangzhou are known as the Capitals of Silk.
The train ride from Urumqi of Xinjiang to Suzhou takes 40 to 45 hours. A hard sleeper costs CNY 635.5; a soft sleeper costs CNY 1008.5.

The train ride from Urumqi to Hangzhou takes about 58 hours. A hard sleepr costs CNY 659.5; a soft sleeper costs CNY 1045.5.

So, the whole China trip may need around 7 days. Have a wonderful trip!
