About:China Transit Visa

6-Hour Layover time

Hi, I'm a Filipino and currently staying in Singapore. We will be flying from Singapore to Paris and will have a layover at Chengdu, do we need to apply Visa if we will just stay inside the Airport? Also, what if we decide to go out at the airport, do we need to apply for a VOA? Thank you.

Gerard, you don’t need a visa because you are qualified for the 24 hour direct transit in Chengdu.
You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit which is free of charge at Chengdu airport, and then you can go out of the airport.
