About:Visa Policy of China

Hello! my question is, is it possible to extend a visiting visa here in Beijing?

My sister is here on a 1 month visiting visa and we want her to spend Christmas and New Year with us. Also we forgot to get her a temporary resident permit at the police station, is it gonna be a problem?

It is possible for her to extend it. Actually, she cannot get the temporary residence permit at the local police station if she enters on a tourist L type, but she needs to register her entry at the police station. If you forget to register, you can go to the police station and consult about that.
