About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

US - Seoul - Shanghai

Can a 72 hour free transit apply if traveling from the USA to Seoul, then Seoul to Shanghai and then Shanghai back to the USA?

Also, does this apply for business travelers who are stopping in Shanghai for meetings?
