About:Guangzhou Bus and Metro

Hi we are coming to Guangzhou in 2017 and staying in city hotel.

Is it possible to do a day trip on bullet train to guilin and return? Where do i buy 1st class tickets and what station do i go to catch bullet train from city?
We have never been before kind regards!

Well, you can take a bullet train to Guilin West or Guilin South from GZ South Railway Station. A single trip takes about 2.5 hours. You can book the first class ticket through TravelChinaGuide. The email address is booking@travelchinaguide.com.

It is possible to make a day trip. But it is a little bit too rush. In addition, there are many interesting places to see in Guilin. You are advised to spare two or three days for that! Good luck! :)

Thank you Jack for your help it was good information. Unfortunately we are limited for time. And mainly wanted to experience the bullet ride. Could we leave at 7 am in the morning and then take late bullet train back to GZ and spend day at Guilin.

The last bullet train from Guilin West is at 20:44. And it will take you to GZ South Railway Station. Good luck to you! :)

Dear jack can you tell me how far away is the railway station from the Royal Medditerranean Hotel is please, and what time first bullet train leaves GZ.

GZ South Railway Station is 14 miles (23km) from the hotel. You can take a taxi there. It costs about CNY 70, and takes 30 to 40 minutes. The first bullet train departs at 07:23. :)
