Question

Hi, where should I go to buy clothes (business shirts mainly) for cheap but still acceptable quality, wide range of selection. I do not need world class brands, but I would avoid poor quality. I would also buy some gifts, toys for my daughter. I will be staying at Haizhu square, so access to Metro. Thank you.

As for clothes, you may go to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. It is about 800 yards to the east of Haizhu Square. You can walk there within 10 minutes.For toys, you may go to Liwan Toys Wholesale Market at No. 36, Shiluji, Liwan District. Take metro line 2 from Haizhu Square to Gongyuanqian Station, and change to metro line 1 to Chen Clay Academy Station, Exit A. Walk west for about 800 yards to it. Or, take tourist bus line 2 from Haizhu Square (Qiaoguang East) Station to Shiluji Station, and you can see it. :)
