About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

Traveling to Beijing; staying for two nights and visiting tourist spots then travel to Hong Kong-Dec

Wondering if we still need to get a visa to stay in Beijing for two nights? Below is situation. Need assistance/answers. Thank you.

Flight and hotel booked in Beijing. Also traveling to see tourist destinations in those two nights of stay (3 days). Thereafter, traveling to Hong Kong (flight and hotel stay already booked as well).

G, if the last country/region you fly from before entering Beijing is not HK, you can enjoy the 72 hour direct transit in Beijing. In this case, you don’t need to apply for a visa for that.
