About:Xian Weather

Will be going with young child spending exactly during Christmas time in Xian (25th Dec. to 3 Jan.).

Is it snowy by then? And we are planning to go to mount huashan with cable car. Is it safe during that time? Any snow storm? Thank you!

The weather forcast shows that it will be cloudy, and the temperature ranges from 30F to 35F. However, there might be snow on the mountain, and much colder than the city proper. It is safe to take a cable car up to the mountain. You are advised to wear hiking boots on the mountain. Take care and keep warm! ;)
