Traveling with Young Children from Hong Kong to Shenzhen via High-Speed Rail - Visa Requirments

Hi there, I am from Spain and would like to travel to Shenzhen Futian with my two young daughters, aged 2 and 3, from Hong Kong on March 26 and return to Hong Kong on March 28, 2025. Can I take the High-Speed Rail from West Kowloon to Futian without needing to apply for a visa?

You really do not need any kind of visa since Spanish citizens can enter, stay and explore the entire China absolutely visa free for up to 30 days. Shenzhen is not an exception or in other words, you can do exactly as you have presented absolutely visa free by taking a train from Hong Kong to Futian and back as well.

The only detail you will do is to fill out the arrival card(s) at West Kowloon station where both, Hong Kong and mainland China immigration authorities are located "under the same roof". Just proceed with your travel plans and have a nice visit to Shenzhen.
