Can I apply for my 2nd visa without my employer on contract instead with his wife?

I'm a fdh here in hk and my boss can't come together with me to apply for my 2nd china visa, can his wife come with me instead? And can i get a multiple permit entry now that it's my second application?

Virgie, I think his wife can travel to China with you, but I cannot assure if you can get multiple entries. You can just have a try!

I always travel with my employer in going to china but my problem is that my employer cannot accompany me in applying the visa personally but his wife can.
