About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

My wife works in Shanghai and I work in Mongolia. Possible to get a mulyi-year, multi-entry visa?

She will be working in Shanghai, while I continue to work and reside in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. I would like to secure a visa that would allow me to visit whenever I am able. I am a US citizen, as is she, but a resident of Mongolia. Please advise.

Frank, you can apply for an S1 type for China, and then you can get a residence permit in China. The residence permit can allow you to enter and exit China for multiple times within its validity.
