About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I need a separate visa for my layover in China?

I am a US passport holder traveling from the US to Kathmandu with a connecting flight in Guangzhou Baiyun Int'l airport.

Garrett, if your layover time in Guangzhou is less than 72 hours, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit. And then you don’t need to provide a separate entry permit for that.
