About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Would like to fly to Shanghai, via overnight layover Beijing, stay 2 nts Shanghai B4 on to Thailand

Is this possible, or too many stops in China in this way? Otherwise stay in the airport or book a shorter layover? Thanks!

Doris, if so, you won’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit in China because you will transit in both Beijing and Shanghai. You should transit in either Beijing or Shanghai.
