About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing to Xian on free 72hr visa

If I'm flying from USA to Tokyo then Tokyo to Beijing. Can I use the 72 free transit once in Beijing to go Xian on tour to see Terracotta Warrior museum. Then fly out of Beijing to USA

Tracina, no, you cannot. When you enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Beijing, you are only allowed to travel around Beijing city. You cannot go to Xian.
