About:Liu Bang

What beliefs and values did Liu Bang have?

Did he believe in Taoism or Confucianism? Did he have any values?

Before he set up his own regime, he despised the Confucianism and believed only the military force can be the strong support of the power.
During his regin, he gradually realised the importance of the hierarchy idea advocated by the Confucianism. Then, he changed his attitude towards the Confucianism and valued this school.
