About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

Hello. We are booked on a trip to China in December and need to get our Visa.

Do we need to make an appointment at the Consulate General in Los Angeles or do they take 'walk-ins'? Also, what documentation is required? Thank you

Ana, you don’t need to make an appointment. You can just go there to submit the application.
If you go to China for tourism purpose, you need to provide your passport and its copy, a filled-out application form attached with a recently-taken passport-sized color photo, round trip air tickets and hotel booking record.
