Australian Resident - Chinese Passport (Stop over in Hong Kong for three nights

Good morning, my wife and I will be travelling to China in April 2017 for three weeks. We plan to stop in Hong Kong for three nights on our return to Australia flying with Cathay Pacific. My wife is a permanent Australian Resident but still travels on her Chinese Passport. Does she require a Hong Kong Visa for the three night stay. Thank you in advance. David

David, considering the situation, she can enjoy free transit in HK and stay there for less than 7 days. No entry permit will be needed.
