About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Apply for a Student visa within China

Hi! I am going to be in China for a month on a tourist L type in January. I am then going to study in China (starting in February) and I was wondering if I can apply for a student X type without having to leave Shanghai?

Yulia, it is possible for you to change the tourist L type to a student X type within Shanghai. You can have a try!
