About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa free for Shanghai with cruise ship ?

we stay for two days (2017) with a German cruise ship in Shanghai but departure is via Pudong Airport on the second day. Air ticket available. Do we need a visa? Since 30.1.2016
There is a new agreement, where unfortunately is not clearly deffined, Whether it is valid for departure from the airport. who can Help. Thank you in advance

Yes, it's valid if you leave from the airport. Don't worry, as long as you enter from and leave for different countries, you can enjoy the 144h free transit.
