Visa for a 13 hour visit of Beijing?

Hello,

My husband and I are Canadian and traveling through Beijing to Myanmar for our Honeymoon. We have a layover on the way back (14 hours or so), during which we'd love to quickly try and visit the city.

Do we need an entry permit for a stay of less than 24 hours?

Thank you very much.

Renata, you don't need it as you can make use of the 24h direct transit policy.
