Transit Visa for India passport (Shanghai Pudong)

My wife and we are having transit at Shanghai Pu Dong Airport. They Layover going is 26h and 36h coming back. I hold Australian Passport and my wife hold Indian Passport. I understand I am allowed to have a free transit on Australian Passport. Would my wife be eligible for free transit too on Indian Passport? We are Flying from Australia to India.
