About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

South African passport holder, Japanese resident

Hi, I am a South African with Japanese residency for three years. I am transitting through China for a few hours from Japan on a flight to Bali. I would like to know if I need a transit visa just to change flights in Ghonzou. I arrive at 15:10 and my transfer flight to Bali is at 19:10.

Khethi, if so, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou, and then no entry permit is needed.
