changbaishan south slope in december

Will it be easy to find a bus to go up the south slope from Changbai Town in December?Also, what temperatures should we expect on the mountain that month?

I am afraid that there is no bus available. But you can charter a car to the southern slope of the mountain. It may cost around CNY 500 for a round trip.The temperature may vary from -25C to -10C. It is bitter cold. You should wear down jackets, thick sweaters, thermal underwear, warm pants, boots, scarves, and gloves. Keep warm! Have a good time! :)

Hi, dear! The southern slope is closed these days. There used to be eco buses there when it was open. You may go to the northern slope or western slope instead. May you have a wonderful trip! :)
