About:Shanghai Maglev Train Ticket

Maglev to Shanghai Disney Station Question

I'll be traveling in a few months and am wanting to take the trains from PVG to Disney station. I know I'll transfer from the SMT at Longyang to Line 16 and then to Line 11 at Luoshan Road station on my way to Disney. I'll then be flying out of PVG 4 days later taking the same route in reverse. What ticket would be my best option? Can I use a SMT Round Trip + Metro One-day Pass if I'm using it 4 days later? Or is it better to get different SMT Single Trip + Metro One-day Pass tickets for each day?

For your case, I suggest you buy separate SMT Single Trip + Metro One-day Pass. And if you will use metro a lot during your stay, consider the Ordinary Teturn Ticket (valid in 7 days) and a regular transportation card.

Can I buy the two one day passes at the same time or are they only valid on the day of purchase? It would be easy for me to buy the two SMT Single Trip + Metro One-day Pass tickets when I first arrive at PVG. And then the second card would be activated when I leave the Disney station on my way back to the airport.

Hello, you can buy the cards at the same time, and it won't be activated unless you scan it to ride subway. So relax! You can use the second one on the way back. And the card can be easily accessible at the ticket counter of SMT at PVG.
