About:Directions for Use of Shanghai Public Transportation Card

The last time I was in Shanghai was back in 2013.

Transportation card should have over 25 CNY balance (plus 20 deposit). Can I still use it during my upcoming in December? or do I have to get a new card? Thanks!

The card is valid in 5 years. Before using it, you need to activate it in the service center at first.
