About:China Private Visit Visa

Does the S1 type allow my 3 year old son to go to school in China

or will I need to convert it once in China to a student X type? Will I need to take the visa on enrollment to school?

Jason, yes, he can use the S1 type to go to school in China. You don’t need to apply for a student X type for him. You can go to the exit and entry administration of the local public security bureau to inquire about detailed information.
