About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover in Shanghai, then travel to Peking?

I wish to travel to Shanghai and spend 3 days there. My plan is travel from Nagoya (Japan) directly to Shangai. And then to return, from Shanghai to Pekin having a 2 hours layover and then to Nagoya. Is this route legal to avoid requesting the tourist visa??

MMV, sorry, but you need to apply for a tourist L type if you travel like that.
If you want to avoid requesting the tourist L type, you can travel like Nagoya-Shanghai-HK-Nagoya.
