fly in, fly out, ... 72 hours visa?

If I fly into Kunming, and then fly out 72+ hours later,can I stay in Kunming only, under the 72+ hour free transit arrangement?

If you fly from country A to Kunming, and then fly from Kunming to country B after 72-hours, you can use the 72h free transit policy there. But you should notice that the 72-hour free-stay period starts from the first day after your arrival in Kunming and ends on the last minute of the third day, so be sure that your stay is not over the limit.
