About:Shanghai Transportation by Air

Flying into PVG T2 with ETA at 0640 to catch a connecting flight from PVG T1 at 0940 to Nagoya.

Do I need to claim my luggage out from T2 and go through the immigration clearance at T2 prior to proceeding to T1 at PVG?

If you hold a connecting flight ticket, your luggage will be delivered to the final destination. You just need to go through immigration.

Otherwise, you have to claim your luggage, go through the immigration, and check in again. :)

I will be flying into Pudong via Singapore airline, and leaving Pudong via china eastern airline. Is this going to be considered as connecting flight?

If it isn't , with ETA at 0630 , 3 hours before my next departure timing , will I have enough time to travel from T2 to T1?

I am afraid not. You need to claim your luggage and go through immigration. Then, check in again at T1.

The time is enough for you to make the transit successfully. Don't worry! :)
