About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

On CA from TAO to PEK, connect to UA to ORD. Must I collect the checked luggage and recheck at PEK?

May I know if you hold through tickets? If so, your baggage will be directly transferred to the final destination and it is no need to reclaim at PEK.
