About:Shanghai Maglev Train Ticket

Do I need to buy Shanghai Maglev train tickets in advance for Christmas season?

Pls advise what is the best way to get to Pudong Airport from Grand Mercure Central Hotel to board the express train?
How much travelling time required?
Can I buy the discounted tickets in advance (with the e-air ticket)? What is the frequency of the trains from Longyang Rd station?

You needn't buy the ticket in advance.

Take metro line 1 from SH Railway Station to People's Square Station, and transfer to metro line 2 to Longyang Road Station. The metro ride takes about 30 minutes, and the fare is CNY 4. Then, take the train to PVG (about 8 minutes). Just buy the ticket on the spot upon arrival. The frequency is 15 to 20 minutes. :)
