About:China Customs Declaration

Can I take a small birthday cake, crisps teabags and sweets into China for my sons birthday?

Ann, these items are allowed to pass the customs. But I heard that fresh fruit is not allowed to enter the country, so you'd better not take fruit cake just in case of some misunderstandings.
