Transport fr Shangri-La to Dali. What is the distance and how do you get from one town to next ?

I heard there are frequent buses in the morning at Shangri-La Bus Station. There are nearly 200 miles between Shangri-La and Dali,so the bus ride takes 5~6h.
Once you arrived in Dali, you can either bus or charter a car to other town.
