About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Singapore to Shanghai > Beijing > Shanghai > Hong Kong > Singapore

After arriving into Shanghai, can I fly to Beijing the next day for a day trip and back to Shanghai, stay for 2 days and fly out to Hong Kong then back to Singapore using the 144 hr visa-free transit? Thanks.

Monica, I'm afraid not. If you travel like that, you cannot use the 144 hour free transit. However, if you hold Singaporean passport, you can travel like that and don’t need to apply for an entry permit.
