About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I am a service passport holder from Indonesia.

Currently, I study at Japan. I have to attend a three-day workshop in Fudan University. If I do not need a visa to go there, does it mean that I can go there directly to the airport without reporting to Chinese Embassy, and just bring my passport, a ticket and the invitation letter?
Thank you.

Reni, if you hold service passport, I think you can enjoy free entry to enter China and stay there for less than 30 days. Thus, you just need to provide your passport, enough travel fees, accommodation arrangement and the return ticket to enter China.
