I was born in China now American citizen traveling to Japan with the layover in Bejing first .

What is it exactly that I need to do to apply for an overnight stay with relatives living near Bejing Airport when flying to Japan from USA on China Air. Where do I find and fill form for this round trip with stop overnight layover?
