About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

My name is Joe, I'm an American flying to Shanghai two days

before the 14 days Cruise out from Baoshan to other Asia country, the final destination is Hong Kong. Does the 72 hour free transit policy apply to my trip without VISA or supporting documents other a US passport?

Joe, if the country you fly from is not the country the cruise ship will go to, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. You just need to provide your passport and relevant air ticket and cruise ticket, as well as the valid entry permit for the third country.
