About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

permit for Hong Kong to Guangzhou for 2 nights

My wife and I are going to Hong Kong for 10 days, we are hoping to go to Guangzhou for 2 nights. Do we need a permit, if yes how long does it take to get one. Do we go into your office

Grant, if you can make a travel like this by flight: HL-Guangzhou-Macau-HK, or HK-Guangzhou-Australia, you will be eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou, in this case, no entry permit will be needed. Otherwise, you need to apply for a visa in advance at the CVASC in Brisbane. And it will take 4 working days for the application.
