Question

HiFlying Brisbane to Singapore with 2 day stop over.  Then we will fly from Singapore to Shanghai.  Our stay in Shanghai will be 4 days.  then we fly from Shanghai to Brisbane via HongKong (no stop over in Hong Kong)Do we need a visa or can we use the 144 Hour transit visa?

Since you will fly from Singapore to Shanghai and then head to Australia afterwards, you can use the 144-hour visa free transit and do not need to apply for visa. You may also double check with the airline company before leaving.
